Eight precautions before the physical examination

1. Within 3 days before the physical examination, you can maintain a normal diet, do not eat too greasy, high-protein food, do not drink alcohol, and rest early at night to avoid fatigue.

2. Fasting for at least 8 hours before the physical examination, otherwise it will affect blood sugar, blood lipids, liver function, and abdominal ultrasound test results (but drinking a small amount of water, taking medicine usually does not affect the test results).

3. Do not take vitamin C, diet pills or antibiotics 3 days before the physical examination. 

For patients with chronic diseases such as hypertension, coronary heart disease, anticoagulation therapy, and antithrombotic therapy, especially retired employees, the drug cannot be stopped or delayed. 

In order to avoid a sudden increase in blood pressure and coronary ischemia, a physical examination should be performed early in the morning after taking the drug, and patients with diabetes or other chronic diseases should also take the drug in time after taking the drug. 

The physical examination should not interfere with the routine treatment of existing diseases.

4. If you are pregnant or may become pregnant, please tell the medical staff not to do X-ray examination and gynecological examination.

5. Women should not undergo urine test, stool examination and gynecological examination during menstruation, and should be re-examined after menstruation.

6. On the day of the physical examination, it is best for us to wear loose and casual clothing to facilitate various safety checks; Do not wear underwear with buttons or metal as accessories to avoid affecting the results of the X-ray examination.

7. Blood shall be collected within the prescribed time.

Blood should not exceed 10:00 at the latest, otherwise, the blood status changes due to the influence of physiological endocrine hormones in the body.

Although blood is still collected on an empty stomach, the test value is easily distorted (such as blood glucose value) and loses its meaning.

8. In order to ensure that you can accurately understand the results of your physical examination, please fill in the physical examination form and various test forms carefully before the physical examination, and write clearly, especially the name and items.
