1. If the clothes of the person who has been struck by lightning catch fire, the person on fire must not run because of panic, which will make the fire burn more and more vigorously, and can roll on the ground to extinguish the flame, or lie in a depression or pool with water to extinguish the flame. The burn can be rinsed with cold water and then bandaged with a clean handkerchief or clean cloth.

2. After being struck by lightning, the injured person should be allowed to lie down comfortably, loosen the clothing buckle, belt, etc., and the head should not be raised to facilitate breathing. If the injured person has stopped breathing or the heart has stopped beating, artificial respiration and cardiac compressions should be quickly performed, and acupuncture points such as Zhongzhong, Shixuan, Yongquan, and Meimen should be quickly performed. At the same time, you should be sent to the hospital for emergency treatment as soon as possible, and do not terminate the first aid of cardiopulmonary compressions while waiting for the ambulance.

There are two commonly used methods of artificial respiration, mouth-to-mouth breathing and mouth-to-nose breathing.

Mouth-to-mouth breathing

1. Let the patient lie on his back;

2. When lying on the back, the posterior occipital part of the patient is close to the ground to ensure that the respiratory tract is in a straight line;

3. Completely remove secretions and foreign bodies in the patient's respiratory tract;

4. The root of the operator's left palm can be tightly pressed against the patient's forehead, and the index finger and thumb of the left hand can pinch the patient's bilateral nasal wings to close the nasal cavity;

5. The operator's right hand should tightly clamp the patient's bilateral cheeks so that the mouth can be fully opened;

6. The operator inhales vigorously, inhales until he can't inhale, and blows the inhaled gas into the patient's respiratory tract within 1-2 seconds, which effectively proves that the patient's chest can be seen to rise and fall;

7, the rhythm of artificial respiration is to blow every 4-5 seconds, about 12-16 times per minute, if you also want to do heart compression, in the frequency of heart compression 100 times per minute, every 30 times of compression, you can continue artificial respiration 2 times.

Mouth-to-nose breathing

When the patient has oral trauma or other reasons that the mouth cannot be opened, mouth-to-nose blowing can be used, and the operation method is to first open the patient's airway, tilt the head back, and support the patient's chin with the hand to close the mouth. Take a deep breath, wrap your mouth around the patient's nose, and blow forcefully into the patient's nostrils until the chest is lifted, and after blowing, open the patient's mouth to allow the air to exhale. If the blowing is effective, the patient's chest can be seen to rise and fall with the blowing and the air can be felt exhaled.

Cardiac compressions

The method of cardiac compression is to place the palm root of one hand on the intersection of the sternum and the connection of the two nipples of the injured person, close to the chest wall of the injured person, and the other hand overlaps on the first hand, pressing vertically with the gravity of the body, so that the chest cage of the injured person sinks 4~5 cm, and the compression frequency is about 100 times per minute. In general, the heart is pressed 30 times and the mouth-to-mouth rescue respiration blows 2 times.
